Europe's flagship event for internal security
The European Police Congress is one of the most important professional events for internal security in Europe. Senior officers and decision-makers from the police, security authorities, politics, public administration and the judiciary come together at the CityCube Berlin — accompanied by a trade exhibition presenting technologies and system solutions for security authorities.

A visit from Saarland: Interior Minister Reinhold Jost
One highlight of the fair was a visit from Reinhold Jost, interior minister of Saarland, a German federal state: he came to the stand to see for himself what the Saarland-based start-up lingomatch has built — and called the solution promising and worthwhile.
Beyond that, conversations with companies from the security and technology sector opened up possible collaborations.
What we showed
At the stand, visitors could try the platform live: qualified and sworn interpreters joining from anywhere within seconds, billing to the applicable fee schedule, and GDPR-compliant infrastructure with servers in Germany.
The conversations centred on scenarios in policing and the justice system — from roadside checks through police interviews to interpreting at short notice in emergency situations.
Conversations and takeaways
Talking directly with representatives of German federal and state authorities confirmed it: the need for fast, legally sound interpreting exists everywhere — and the willingness to trial digital solutions is growing.
What we heard feeds straight into the ongoing beta phase. Authorities interested in a pilot project can pre-register now.
