Interpreting happens in healthcare, in local government and social services and in legal and notarial practice just as it does everywhere else. Unlike law enforcement, the courts and immigration, there is no uniform framework there for who bears the fee. That is why these are not currently focus sectors.
Where an authority bills under the JVEG, Germany's remuneration act for court-appointed experts and interpreters, the rate, time units and surcharges are fixed and it is clear who pays. Outside that framework, every case starts with the same question.
Technically the platform works exactly the same way in these sectors: the same matching, the same encryption, the same vetted interpreters. What is missing is not a feature but a decision on your side.
The need is documented in all three fields. What is missing in each case is set out in the card.
A consent discussion before a procedure, initial history taking in A&E, a discharge conversation. Understanding is a prerequisite for valid consent. What is unresolved is whether the hospital, a funding body or the person concerned pays for the interpreting.
Advisory meetings, needs assessments, family matters. Sensitive subjects where misunderstandings become expensive. Responsibility for the costs differs from one authority and benefit area to the next.
Advice and notarisation with interpreting. Here the funding question is often settled fastest, because it can be agreed with the client. These are not public authorities, however, and the framework is a different one.
Not a focus sector does not mean no interest. It means we will not sell you a solution whose billing is unresolved.

The provider, the administration or the cost centre has to confirm who pays. We supply the figures and the process, but we do not make the decision.
