Built in the field.
For the field.
lingomatch connects public authorities and qualified interpreters in real time — securely, quickly and in line with the GDPR. Founded by Florian Crosbie, who knows the problem from both sides: as a former police officer and as a practising interpreter.

The people behind lingomatch.
Experienced entrepreneurs as shareholders — and a growing team that keeps the platform running.

“If a platform does not take that trust seriously, it has no right to exist.”
A problem we know from the inside.
In public authorities, the police and the courts, it is not the will to provide interpreting that is missing — it is the infrastructure.
The search takes too long
Interpreters are often needed at short notice. The search is manual, limited to the local area and dependent on the time of day. Sometimes an hour goes by before anyone can be reached.
People cannot exercise their rights
Without reliable interpreting, people cannot express themselves adequately, cannot understand what is being said and cannot exercise their rights effectively — in police interviews, asylum interviews and court proceedings.
The digital infrastructure is missing
While other parts of public administration are being digitised, interpreter booking in many places still runs by phone, by fax and from personal contact lists.
Our path — step by step.
Platform built
End-to-end encryption, billing to the statutory fee schedule, cascading interpreter search — the technical foundation is in place.
First contacts with authorities & political recognition
A meeting with Anke Rehlinger, Minister-President of Saarland, a German federal state, plus talks with the German federal police, the Saarland Ministry of Justice and the State Chancellery.
Press coverage
Saarbrücker Zeitung, a German regional daily, and a business magazine — lingomatch is being noticed.
Beta phase with pilot authorities
Second half of 2026 — the first real assignments, real feedback, real improvements together with pilot partners.
Nationwide roll-out across Germany
One federal state at a time, one type of authority at a time — no rushed growth, but quality that holds up.
No assignment at a public authority should fail because nobody speaks the right language.
For public authorities
The infrastructure authorities have been wishing for these past twenty years — but never built themselves. Fast placement, a secure connection, documented processes.
For interpreters
Fair assignments, direct contractual relationships, transparent terms. Your contact details stay protected until you accept, and your assignments are documented.
Help shape what comes next.
Secure one of the first places on the platform — free of charge and without obligation, as a public authority or as an interpreter.
